How we use AI in our content
At IDEX Biometrics, we use AI to support creative work and make our technology easier to understand. We make deliberate choices about what we generate, what we show and how we present it. We sometimes add a fingerprint illustration to the card’s sensor to show where to place your finger. This is a visual aid, not a feature of the physical card.
Fictional people, protected identities
Our AI-generated employee personas are entirely fictional, including their names and job titles. They allow us to illustrate everyday situations without exposing real people’s identities or personal details.
Real applications, illustrated settings
We use AI-generated imagery to show genuine applications of the IDEX-card in fictional settings. These images accurately reflect how the product is used, without revealing physical or digital access arrangements at real organisations or implying a customer relationship.
Filming and photography by agreement
When we use live photography or video from real locations, we agree its production and use with the relevant business and building owner or operator. Identifiable participants must also agree to appear.
This AI-generated image illustrates a contactless payment using the IDEX-card, with the cardholder’s thumb on the fingerprint sensor. The person, name and card details are fictional, allowing us to demonstrate the application without exposing anyone’s identity or payment credentials.
We review our guidelines as our use of AI develops and relevant requirements change.
